Sree Chakra is a geometric representation of the Cosmic PURUSHA.It is a symbol of the union of Siva and Sakthi, the Male and Female Energy of the Universe. The Spiritual Energy within the human body is known as Kundalini Power and the Universal Energy is known as Raja Rajeswari or Tripura Sundari(The most beautiful woman of the three worlds). It is a power of Lord Param Siva, speaking in mythology. Hence Lord Siva is known as ARDHANARISWAR( half Man and half Woman).
Actually this is the real nature of this great Universe. Shree Chakra is known as a symbol of the union of Jeevatman (Soul) and Paramatman (Super Soul) . It is a Chakra(wheel) rotating clockwise and anti clockwise. It is a totality of the union of all six Chakras (wheels) of the human body which appears in the Ajna Chakra(Forehaed). It is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom, wisdom of the Spirit and the Almighty. . It is also a journey of the entire Universe to the eternity in the philosophical point of view. As per Upanishads, the Prana, the Life force known as Atman the Soul enters in the body through the top of the head known as Crown Chakra or Sahasrara, Viduathi, during birth in the Womb. Although Atman and Prana are the same Energy (Prana is a derivation of Atman, in other words it is known as shadow of the Atman), Atman acts as Master and Prana’s role is as a servant form as per Upanishads. The Super Soul located in the heart of every persons as an Atom as it helps Prana, the life force to travel through out the body in different forms to maintain the body of the person for making him fit and energetic and to maintain life. The different forms of Prana(Life force) are Prana,(the main force) Apana, Udana, Wyana, Samana and other five subsidiaries by name Nagan, Kurman, Krikalan, Devadattan and Dhananjayan. These are known as Upa Puranas .(Subsidiaries) which are theoretically not so important. (All Sanskrit words – cannot be translated). The size of the Atom cannot be measured and founded by any media or Science of any nature as it can be seen only by Enlightened Yogis transcendentally. In fact this great Universe and all Universal manifestations are the developed forms of this divine Atom.
An Enlightened Yogi can see this Shree Chakra through His Ajna (Forehead). This is really the Atman darsan or God vision and culmination of all Spiritual practices. An Illumined Yogi can also see His Atman as Divine Light. Actually the real form of our Soul is Shree Chakra when we depart this human body as we are the prototype of this Universe. Hence the Shree Chakra represents the Universe, human and other bodies. Shree Chakra is known as Mahalakshmi Rajarajeshwari, Tripurasundari many more names and is the essence of this Universe as a whole in the form of Female Energy as per Hindu Legends. It is also known as Kundalini Energy which might have awakened in most of the Spiritually Enlightened persons and Prophets.
Please see my article on ” KUNDALINI ENERGY ” in the website as Shree Chakra and Kundalni Energy are related. It is also knows as Shree yantra. Shree chakra pooja or Shree yantra pooja is the worship of a deity in a diagrammatic form. The worship of Devi in Shree chakra is regarded as the highest form of the Devi worship. Originally Lord Shiva gave 64 Chakras and their Mantras to the world for attaining the various spiritual and material benefits. The most powerful Shodashakshari mantra was also given by Him which is equivalent of all the 64 put together.
It is said that in the beginning God, who was one, wanted to become many. As the first step to creation, He created Devi- the total cosmic Female force. For the male part , out of his left He created Shiva, from the middle He created Brahma and from the right He created Vishnu. That is why many regard the Devi as more powerful than the Trinities and hence She is called Parashakti para meaning beyond. Brahma created the Universe, Vishnu controls and runs the Universe. Shiva along with Shakti is regarded in the external dissolution and recreation of the Universe. The Bindu in the center of the Shree chakra is the symbolic representation of the cosmic spiritual union of Shiva and Shakti. Apart from that the Shree chakra also embodies countless number of deities and represents the whole of creation. Hence by worshiping the Devi in Shree chakra, one is actually worshiping the highest ultimate force in the Tantric form.
The Shodashi Mantra is given at the end of the pooja and one can do Japa of the mantra. At one time the Shodashi vidya was one of the most guarded secrets of Tantra. Usually the Guru used to give it to a highly deserving and tested disciple. Very few used to get it. Even in the Mantra Shastra, where all other Tantras are openly and clearly given, the Shodashi vidya is not directly given. Several hints about the mantra are given and you are asked to get the mantra if you are capable of deserving. The opening versus of the manta Shastra chapter on Shree chakra says, ” Your head can be given, your soul can be given, but the Shodashi Vidya of the Devi cannot be given ” However times have changed and the rules of Tretayuga are no longer applicable now. Anyone how wishes to worship Her can do it even without a Guru. You don’t need a guru to give you mantra deeksha. In the olden days there were no books to learn and even the palm leaf writings were few so a guru was necessary. So forget the rules the Tretayuga and accept Devi and Shiva (as Guru of the world Dakshinamurthy) as your Guru and practice with faith and you will get their blessings. However, approach a real GURU for this purpose if needed.
Devi is known as in different names such as Mahalakshmi, Sriparvathy, SriSaraswathi, Rajarajeshwari, Lalitha, Tripurasundari, SriDurga and several other names. There are 108 names for Devi in Hindu Purana. Tripura is the ultimate primordial Shakti, the light of manifestation. She, the pile of letters of the Alphabet, gave birth to the three worlds. At dissolution, She is the abode of all Tattvas. What is Srividya and what relationship does it have to the goddess Lalitha and to her yantra, the Shree yantra? Vidya means knowledge, specifically female knowledge, or the goddess , and in this contest relates to her aspect called Shree Lalitha or Tripurasundari whose magical diagram is called Shree yantra . she is a Red Flower so her diagram is flower too.
The Tantrik tradition views is symbols as having a gross aspect, a subtle aspect, and a supreme aspect. In terms of Lalitha, the gross form is the image of the goddess with her four arms and so forth, the subtle form is as Yantra, and the supreme form is her Mantra, all three being the goddess in different aspects. Behind the scene. some time, colorful symbolism is deep wisdom coupled with practical methods for realizing herself.
Tantra Yoga is a holistic approach to the study of the Universal form from the point of view of the individual the study of the microcosm through the study of the microcosm. Tantra Yoga draws on all the sciences – Astronomy, Astrology, Numerology, physiognomy, physics, chemistry, alchemy, Ayurveda ( the traditional medicine of India ), psychology, mathematics, geometry and so on. – to provide a practical means of realizing the highest ideals of philosophy in daily life. Instead of separating and categorizing the different areas of human knowledge, Tantra Yoga draws them together . Tantra Yoga studies the tree of life itself instead of limiting itself to mathematics, geometry, and so on – to provide a practical means of realizing the highest ideals of philosophy in daily life. Instead of separating and categorizing the different areas of human knowledge, Tantra Yoga draws them together. Tantra Yoga studies the tree of life itself instead of limiting itself to any single branch of the tree. This tree is a microcosm, a great organization of diverse elements linked together by a unifying law (Dharma) that is inherent in their very nature. Tantra Yoga seeks to understand this law.
The aim of Tantra Yoga is to expand awareness in all states of consciousness, whether waking state, dream state or sleep state. I do not wish to expand the details of Tantra Yoga, because it itself has many things to expose. Now our main subject is Shree chakra or Shree yantra, of course it has direct relation with Shree chakra in all respects Shree chakra is the Pooja ( Ritual ) ideal of of Tantra. Tantra Yoga teaches us to identify the various factors that influence our thoughts and feelings and to transcend the obstacles to our evolution arising from ignorance, intolerance, attachment to our animal nature, and selfishness. By refining our thoughts and feelings by means of these Tantra Yoga practices, we learn to create peace harmony and order within ourselves. Tantra Yoga thus promotes a free consciousness from limitations. While most of us think of sex when we think of Tantra Yoga, this ancient practice is a powerful combination of Asana. Mantra, Mudra and bandha and chakra work that you can use to build strength, clarity and bliss in everyday life. By harnessing and embodying the five forces of Shakti, the Female Deity that represents creativity and change. Tantra Yoga suggests one can move through the world with more confidence and contentment. Tantra principles have connection with ancient Hinduism and Buddhism.
